Gents, I learned from Doug Reel a while back that you can easily re-tap those imbedded steel metric nuts in your Euro plane to a more available (at least in the US) size if you use some care. I picked up a tap set from a local hardware store for about $25, and it was money well spent. Pick a tap size that is a bit tight in the nut, and work it in a little, then out, and in again (and so on), being careful to keep the tap straight. Try not to screw it in too much at once, or you can tear out the nut from the fuse. I don't have the exact size matches to use--I just eyeballed it, and used the one that was a little bigger.
