If that automotive primer gets through the pinholes wet, it can dissolve the styrene foam underneath with very disasterous results to your airfoil!. Bob Chatman's suggestion to fill the pinholes by wiping on spackle (use a plastic artist's spatula/old credit card/scrap of balsa to force it into the holes) is a good one. If you then follow with lacquer type primer (such as automotive or Krylon), mist it on so the spray is nearly dry when it hits the surface until the area is sealed. Even safer, seal the area with a thin coat of epoxy and let cure before getting anywhere near it with primer or paint. Good Lift! RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
