As a project at the monthly clubmeetings, we are going to cut foam wings for
the Terminator HLG. I have found the coördinates for the Selig 4083 on the
Internet and I've entered them in Autocad after converting them from inches
to millimeters.
We are going for the version covered with balsa sheets and there might be a
problem: the thickness of the balsa to use is indicated as 1/32", and that's
about 0.79375 millimeter (let's make that 0.8mm) but that size isn't
available here: the thinnest balsa I can find over here is 1mm.
Question is: should I care ? The difference is nearly 20% ...
If I _should_ care: anybody who knows an address in the US where I can buy
some sheets of 1/32" balsa through email ?
Any other solutions ? Making the foamcores thinner ? By how much ?
Thanks,
Stefan.
