A most interesting program. I found the British Horsa glider to be more
interesting. At least it looked more aerodynamic.

I haven't seen a complete WACO glider at any of the museums I have visited
but there are parts of them on display at various places. I stopped at the
Castle AFB Aircraft Museum on the way back from Visalia last fall and got
to see some interesting wrecks and parts in the storage area behind the
public display area. There I ran across a large steel tube fuselage frame
rusting away. I didn't recognize it at first but finally concluded that it
was the frame, wing struts, and a few other scraps of a WACO cargo glider.
I have a photo of the frame and will email it to anyone who would like to
see it.
