Congratulations to the gentleman from the south for his first place finish (I didn't get his name) and to Dave Reese (producer of "Lift Ticket", the best soaring movie to date) who got a hot 2nd and Craig Toutolmin for his 3rd place finish. Dave & Craig are both No. Cal F3F flyers and all of their practice at Los Banos proved to pay off today. Today's rounds were flown in 30 plus winds out of the Northwest. Yesterday was disappointing with light winds out of the South which does not work for Big Creek/Davenport. There was lots of carnage and some were spectacular to say the least. Dave flew a Diamond and Craig flew one of his slick home-brews. There was a great turnout and I'll let someone else fill you in on all the details.
