Sotos,

I have not set up my Dart for DLG but I have learned a lot about it's
construction. Also, I just finished a custom (copyied from some of the greats)
hybrid DLG. I called it the "Mock'n Bird". I have not been flying it long
enough to have learned the stresses of DLG... but, I offer the follwoing:

Multiplex's Multi-Poxy fuse is very brittle. I had a crack similar to this one:
          http://home.wxs.nl/~bollo000/pics/dart_2_27.jpg

You will need to reinforce the fuse underneath the wing with 1.8 oz. Kevlar (if
you have it), or carbon strips and 3/4 oz. glass. Other than the wing saddle, I
think that the over-all fuse is strong enough to take the side loads.

The wing--if put together correctly--will be plenty strong enough for DLG.
After you've reinforced the fuse... just put a carbon peg in your favorite
wing-tip and schwing away.

Another suggestion that did not make it to the review I submitted to S&E Modeler
was: Cut out a canopy and move the electronics forward so that you will not
have to add so much weight to the nose. If you do this, you have to reinforce
the inside of the fuse with carbon strips and 3/4 oz. glass. To mount the
servos, just wrap them in masking tape and glue them in with houehold GOOP.

Have fun! The DART is one TOUGH BIRD. I've put my through a lot (for a while I
was calling "The Lawn Dart"). It's still flying.

     Regards,
     Dave Termohlen
