There are several on the market. They run anywhere from $1200 to $3000
depending on the machine. I have forgotten the URLs but I can look them up
if anyone is interested.
Now for the down side of making your own. It isn't terribly cheaper because
the cost of linear motion components is high as others (including myself)
have found out.
