Power planes are much easier to fly than gliders! All you have to
remember is that you CAN pull up without stalling. First time I tried a
power plane I terrified everyone by flying around at low altitude at 60
mph because I was afraid it would stall if I climbed too much. Perfect
control, tho.

I notice you conspicuously omit free flight (i.e. those of us who know
how to set up an airplane so it doesn't continually have to be
corrected). In that case we don't need to put a radio in. Not much of a
money sink either.
