Jason,
HOW did this happen? Did the wires change color in mid-wing?
Were they spliced?

Subject: [RCSE] Servo wire problems...please read!
Fo anyone who has premade servo wires in their wings (my Escape has them)
PLEASE check them to make sure they are correct! My Escape wing was wired
incorrectly, with the ooutboard aileron and little aileron wired red to
black and black to red. The Flap was wired correctly. Yes, this toasted 2
servos (one Micro MC/V2 and 1 JR 241) as well as toasting the inside of the
wing a bit and melting the battery connector! 1000mah 5 cell packs dump a
lot of power :)
Luckially I was testing and realized the problem. Quick cut of the wires
stopped the damage, but I had to make a whole new wiring harness and my
basement stinks. Also I lost 2 expensive servos :(
Needless to say I checked the wiring on the other wing more carefully...it
was wired correctly.
While i think premade wiring is a nice "touch", I have also never been fond
of it to begin with. But since this was glued in already (not any
more...the heat pulled it away from the skin!) I decided to use it.
Needless to say I will be checking much better in the future.
