has anyone tried using CF push rods or a CF boom as an attenna ?
We don't put wire antenna's inside the CF boom because they are conductive,
but are they conductive enough to pick conduct RF and match the RX input
appropriately, I have tried it yet but I thought it might be worth doing
some tests...

I did this on my Spectre HLG and it worked out great. But, on a big scale
ship I can't see the benefit. Why not just string the antenna back into the
fuse? You've got the room, right?
