This past weekend , while visiting friends in the far nothern part of
New Hampsire , I was flying my NSP Oman with a Kontroniks 501 set in it
. Great Fun . Until ooops no control!! Oh sh!t it's over the woods {not
more than 100 acres of woods } and I can't see the darn thing!! We do
some reconisence and detrime there is no vantage point where we can look
down on that area. The liklely hood of bushwhacking in there and finding
it is Nill or less. The Guy I was visiting knows everybody in the area .
-------To cut to the story . The next morning he is up in a cassna 150
spots it and pin points it with a gps. latter in the afternoon (he had
to work} we took a gps and walked 700 feet into the woods the to base
of a tree where we found 2 purple wing tips on the ground!! and with
speed cut down the tree to recover the fuse and tail feather which were
dangling by the control cables! I have started to bench test the parts
and it seems to all still work!
KNOW Any suggestion for a new model to put the motor etc in??
