Just wanted to remind folks in the Southwest that the ISSA is holding a scale aerotow event at the Pomona Valley Model Airplane Club (PVMAC) field in Chino, CA on September 21 - 23. Go Here for info: http://www.soaringissa.org/events.htm The field is wide open, surrounded by great lift and is a paved runway 800 feet long and 70 feet wide. We are just south of the Chino Airport and have gotten an altitude waiver from the FAA for the event. We are good to go up to 1,500 feet with virtually no lateral limits. The field will be closed to everything except the gliders for most of Friday (from about noon on) and all of the weekend. There is lots of room in the pit area and we'd love to see it filled.
