Hi fellow Silent flight flyers from New Zealand, I am looking at purchasing a new F3B model and would welcome comparisons between the above three. I currently fly a Cobra and are very familiar with its characteristics. I like the MH32 section, launch capability, ballast set up and general model strength and design. Actually I like all aspects about it except the lack of flap throw. I am leaning towards an Estrella as many pilots at the current F3B WC were flying them. Do they perform better than a Cobra and how? Is there anybody out there that has changed from a Cobra to an Estrella or Icon and what advantages have you found? I am not as convinced about the Icon (its a great model but Joe's a better pilot), however Joe's comments about the higher standard of model performance at the current worlds and how the Icon performed is making me reconsider. Has anyone out there changed from a Cobra to an Estrella or an Icon F3B wing and what advantages have you found. Any comments would be appreciated from your personal experience please.
