I would love to see
some pictures of it. SAS in the UK used his fuselages up to about the mid 90s I
have always wondered what the original models looked like. I still have one of
his fuz's.. I think in the US it had a 72" span wing, 8ish" chord low mounted
wing.
thanx

I have a Martin SR-7 slope soarer that I would
like to find a home for. The ideal owner would be a slope bug with an old
Kraft AM transmitter. The SR-7 is a 55" span aerobatic slope soarer kitted by
Bob Martin Models, circa 80s. A swept back wing contributes to
the jet-like look with an "unbreakable" molded fuselage of white "Dura-lene"
plastic. Wings are plywood sheeted foam cores. Wing area about 588 sqin., and
weight about 3#, 10 oz. I could part with it for $125 plus shipping.
The condition is structurally
sound. It needs a little paint work, mostly landing scratches
on the bottom, but looks pretty good as-is. It has two servos: currently a
Kraft KPS14 for elevator and a Kraft KPS15 for ailerons. Right now it has a
Kraft KPR5C AM receiver on channel 12 with a high-side crystal. The servos are
good ones, but Kraft no longer is in business and the connectors only fit
Kraft. Kraft servos work well with Airtronics and JR receivers by
replacing the servo connectors.
This is not a light lift
airplane. It flies very well in a medium to heavy wind, and really is
spectacular in a gale. I have some jpg pictures. If interested, send
me an e-mail.
