What type of plane was it used for? What flight configurations were utilized? Did you like it? After these the simple things of course should be considered such as comfort, model memory, etc... It's unfortunate but you never know for sure until you buy it and fly it for a significant time. If you know you'll stick with the hobby; buy the most expensive Tx you can.
