Because the Graupner range isn't certified for the US I believe. And
your right, a 10 model memory, especially on something as expensive
as the 10x, is a joke!

An MPX 3030 will do more than the mc22 anyway, if you like that style
of transmitter. The 3030 has 99 memodel memory also.

Also, a 4000 is way better than a 10x that your all talking about,
and cheaper I believe.

I'm sick of trying to explain the many reasons why multiplex gear is
great, so have a look for your self, and buy the best you can afford.
(don't get me started on MC24 V P4000 either!!)

Cheers, marc

Why isn't the Graupner/JR MC-22 transmitter ( or
similar models ) offered in the US?

There's one advertised in the Oct/Nov issue of QFI, it
looks like a great radio, 30 model memory, a slider,
looks compact, large screen and all sorts of switch
positions. I don't know anything about the
transmitter but it looks fantastic.

I side with the fact that 10 model memory is not
enough. When you fly slope, thermal, electric, and
some micro, it doesn't take long to fill up the
transmitter. I like Data Safe but I find it
bothersome to make sure the correct programs are
loaded in my transmitter before I leave home to fly.
It's enough work to make sure I have everything now.
I could live with 30 model memory. That sounds about
right to me.
