This is true.  However, it should be mentioned that polyester finishing
resin has a wax added to it to help cure.  This should be removed with some
sort of solvent before attempting to bond to it with epoxy.  I asume you are
not trying to apply an epoxy/mek combo to the fiberglass.

Reason being that the epoxy has a surface coating (anamine blush, i think
it's called) that the polyester won't stick too.
