There's a lot of polyhedral, which I think would explain the roll control
better than the inverted tail.

I sure want to inverted tail to wor for rollk, though.  Is it just a
matter of the surfaces being big enough?  If they're bigger, could there
be a shorter boom, which would lighten the ship by having a shorter tail
moment, requiring less weight in the nose?
