Announcing a most unique R/C Sailplane event ever. May 25-26, 2002, AMA Flying Site, Muncie, IN. Restricted to wood constructed Sailplanes (fiberglass fuses ok), Speed 400 wood constructed sailplanes and one entry per frequency. Pre registration required due to freq. format. This event can be flown as a Fun Fly, competition, LSf Thermal duration Achievement, League of Electric Soaring (LES) Achievement or Speed 400, or fly all of the above. Special Events: These are voted on by all participants..Best New Design ( Brian Agnew and Sky Bench will have new designs for sure), Best Of Show Overall, Best Of Show Electric, Best Of Show OLY ll, Best Creative Covering Design, Best Of Show Scale. Plus "Longest Single Flight By One Pilot". Send email to Ray Hayes [EMAIL PROTECTED] for info details and entry list. I started the entry list on Dec. 22, 01, stopped it during Christmas for a couple of days and the list already has 30 entries. Nothing but fun May 25-26. Competition tasks are the LSF achievement levels....Pilots choose the task, when they will fly it (no call up) and fly it for fun or competition. This will be pure laid back fun and hard core competition, but it is pilot's choice. Many wood kits are being built and flown and Wood Crafters is going to be the rallying point for those that enjoy wood construction and flying wood sailplanes.
