I just wanted to know what was possible by current standards. My planes
(free flight) have gotten about 15 seconds, and my controled gliders have
reached 25 (It's amazing how much time a tree will take off your record.
Unless you count being stuck in the tree as indefinite hang time.)

My time, sadly, even on a slope, is maxed at 27 seconds. Due in no way to
the design of the Bug glider I had built (which I really should repair.
If any of you build one, don't try to DS it on the back side of a sand
dune, especially when you don't mean to. And if you do, don't go for the
catch. And if you do go for the catch and you miss, don't drive it into a
beach chair. That little birch dowle LE just isn't made for demolition
derby.) , nor due to the construction, which I think was pretty good,
especially when the fuse was reinforced with CF and glass and the weight
was still 4.2 oz. It was all due to little crappy hesitations in
piloting. I imagine those wrinkles will get ironed out eventually, but
the "Uhhh...is right right, or is right left?" pause is a real record
attempt wrecker.
