Geez Mike, lighten up will ya? Take a pill! How am I ever going to get another good nights sleep, knowing, that for the rest of eternity I'll never be able enjoy the rare privilege of buying a sailplane from you? I just don't know if I can live with that pain!

Let me set the record straight on my terse response (See Ya!) to Sal's diatribe on why he was leaving the exchange (which I really seriously doubt by the way). First, I have never, ever purchased anything from NSP, so I have had neither good nor bad experiences with Sal on which to base a business opinion. Patrons on this list who have dealt with Sal and NSP in the past run the gamut of experiences from really good to absolutely horrific, although we usually are only privy to one individuals unique perception of the story. On the other hand, I don't seem to ever recall any seriously negative comments about other vendors who are regulars on the list such as Karlton, Dieter, Denny, Soaring Junkie, Maple Leaf, Chicago Sky, T&G, Baglady Al, Oleg, Tom Hoopes, Fred Sage and many others, including individuals such as yourself. In fact, Karlton does yeoman's duty in handling criticism, constructive or otherwise, and just gets back to running a very efficient business, kudos to him!

What I do object to is a businessman whining in public and constantly making excuses or feeling the need to explain himself or his actions. If you have a dissatisfied customer, take it off the list, behave like a reputable professional businessman, exchange emails or make phone calls and get the problem resolved with the customer, but please don't feel the need to display a lack of both management and interpersonal skills by whining about who/what/when/why the customer did this or said that on the exchange, most of us just don't want/need to hear those rantings. If Sal feels so personally disturbed by criticism on this list regarding his manner of business ethics and practices and chooses to see it, not as constructive criticism, but as a direct affront to him personally, then perhaps leaving the list is exactly what he should do.

Now, building/rebuilding season is in full bloom, and I am in need of a good contest ship for the coming year! Since I have a history of only buying kits/parts/equipment/used planes from reputable individuals/vendors who regularly post to the exchange, I guess my next ship won't be coming from NSP. It also looks like Mike S. is probably not going to change his mind (insert huge sigh here), so who has that next Addiction/NYX/Graphite/Artemis/Emerald/Sharon/Amethyst/Pike/Tragi/Mantis that I've just got to have? Tom B, Jim B, Pat M, Randy M, Gordy, Edgar, Dieter, anybody??? Email me offlist if you prefer. I've got to get busy soon!

to all of the above, I too can vote with my feet, (or delete key)..

no, I'm not a soaring related business but I do sell 8 - 12 sailplanes a year ranging from kits (NIB) to newly assembled and used planes.. historically I've always represented what I have to sell fairly and to my knowledge haven't had any unhappy deals (I did lose a decal I promised somebody once)..

anyway, the above names, and e-mail addresses I will remember.. don't waste your time responding to any of my "for sale" posts.. I won't answer.. see I don't have to, and don't want to.

NO I REFUSE TO CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH YOU!

too bad 7 personalities (yeah I left a few out, these are the most deserving) can screw up RCSE so much for all involved..

happy new year!
