Today was a busy practice day with crowded skies at Schnepf Farms. The sun was out early and planes took to the air soon after breakfast. It was a little breezy at times but the lift was still pretty tough to miss. Some high clouds helped to keep the temperature cool but it still was near 65 by afternoon. Tomorrow is predicted to be clearing in the afternoon with normal 5-10 winds and warmer. I posted more pictures from today from the field set up, practice flying and the hand launch golf contest. The golf outing winner was Joe Wurts one stroke ahead of Craig Greening and he was one stroke ahead of Paul Schulte. Final golf awards will be presented at the main ceremony on Sunday. Again, time is short so no great details on the photos.
