May of you have asked about the new Multiplex Radio. The ROYAL Evo has been under development for three plus years. The design blends the best of both hand held radios and tray radios in to one case. The primary function of the radio is to replace the Multiplex WORK HORSE RADIO the Profi MC 3030 TX.
The Royal will be out in the USA October 2002. MPX tells me June I do not think it will be till October. The radio is NOT in the same class as the Profi 4000. It is a replacement for the 3030. I have a few 3030s in stock but now that the new radio has been shown I do not think there will be a big rush on the 3030 as there was before.
