I had a similar problem with HS 85's. When
I stripped a gear, I found that the spline did not have a ball bearing in the
head. I checked 5 other HS85's that were all order at the same time, they
were all missing their ball bearings. Hitec is suppose to be sending me ball
bearings for the lot.
Out of 40 to 50 HItec's that I have, 6
have gone back for electrical failure. 2 for gears, Hitec repaired them with no
charge. I slope 3 or 4 days a week hard with them and they hold up very
good.
