I have found that when I use a baseload antenna on the Profi 4000, I get a lot of servo jitter when I am close to the plane and the jitter goes away when I change it back to the telescoping antenna that came with the transmitter. Bob, at Smiley Antenna Company was telling me about a customer of his by the name of Mike, has been working on the problem and is using the rubber ducky. It's my understanding that he is somehow shielding the batteries and getting favorable results.
I already know there are going to be some comments to just not use baseload or rubber ducky type antennas. Please just keep them to yourself. Bob are you out there...? or is there anybody else that has experienced this problem and has a solution to the problem?
