Michael,

Glider - Servo Saver...

Yep, use them on all my flap servos on my TD ships and on all my combat
foamies and they have saved my kibbles on more than one occasion. Can you
say... "Cheap Insurance". So don't think those red things are applicable in
soaring...

FYI

OK I posted a message over a week ago stating 'Servo City Sucks'

Well they don't anymore.

Here's what happened;

3 weeks ago I placed a phone order for a receiver that I needed for a race,
and a servo. I place the order Friday and needed the receiver by the
following weekend.

On the following Friday, still no receiver, so I called them. Apparently the
order fell through the cracks or off someone's desk. So I placed the order
again.

1 week later still nothing, so I called again. Apparently the receiver I
ordered was now on back order. Would have been nice if they had told me! So
I had them ship out the servo I ordered and added another receiver to my
order, not the one I wanted but at least I could make due.

The following Tuesday I got the 2nd receiver and the servo. They also
included some free servo savers and other misc.

Yesterday I finally got the receiver I originally wanted, having missed my
race. Anyway they were apologetic and sent me another free servo saver.

So while I was not happy with the way they handled this, at least they made
up for it and were apologetic and helpful when I talked to them on the
phone.

If your wondering what a glider would be using servo savers for, they're
not. I use them in an off road racing car that does need servo savers.
