Hi Bob . The trouble may be a thing called a "MIller Intergrator" It's a
part of the MP-8000 encoder and works with the RF deck to shape pulses. I
just purchased a FMA Direct RF Deck on Ch-08 ( ham) and the accompanying
paper work mentions how to reset the Integrator. Maybe someone here on
the Exchange can give you a fuller explanation. The two little pots on
the lower left side of the encoder adjust the Integrator. Best of luck &
