The annual Cincinnati Soaring Society Memorial Contest is coming right up. May 18 and 19. Here's the deal: Open class AMA TD, standard duration tasks to be determined by weather and number of participants. Minimum of four rounds per day as goal, five, or six as time permits. Man-on-Man launch with five McCann winches and line break reserve winch. Launch slightly staggered by launch master. Launch 1, 3, 5; then 2, 4 AMA spot landing, with tape; skegs ok Seeded flight groups both days. Registration is from 8:30 to 9:30 EDT. Trophies first through fifth each day, and overall champion Deviations: Contestants may fly either of two registered/marked models at any time during the contest.
