I came across this tonight while looking up info on nylon. Will make a good reference for some people to bookmark for future throne-room reading material.

This is a semi-scientific presentation for regular geeks, meaning you don't have to be a chemist geek to understand it, but you do have to be a geek of some sort to appreciate it. ;o) Check out epoxy resin, kevlar, nylon, mylar, silicone rubber, carbon fiber, polyurethane, and of course the ubiquitous polytetrafluoroethylene (teflon).
