Hello Ed !
I bought all that was left of Bob Martin fuselages
for me and my soaring buddies here in the Montreal, Quebec region. I talked at
lot with M. Martin.
Bob used a generic semi semetrical airfoil that was
popular in the 80's and that was used on aerobatic motor planes. A better an
more suitable airfoil that I used for all our SR 7 wings is a S6061
9%. Don't try to find an airfoil that will match the fuselage wing
seating, such an airfoil dosen't exist ! The S6061 at 9% will fit closely
for the first 2/3 of the wing chord starting at the trailing edge and then will
leave a good gap on top between the wing and the fuselage, to be filled with a
balsa fairing.
Hope this helps ! Feel free to come back to
me for any more inputs.
