F3K is dead until the tasks get changed. (Most of) the current tasks are
ridiculous.

If you really want to do this, start by getting the tasks changed.

Subject: [RCSE] Promoting F3K Hand Launch

Fellow pilots,

My goal is to see a F3K Hand-Launch World
Championships recognized by the FAI. The sporting
code of the FAI states that 5 events must be held
under the provisional F3K rules with 5 countries
participating before the provisional status is lifted.
The rules remain provisional for two years after they
are declared.

My idea is this. The F3K World Challenge. I will be
working on the webpage for this event. The initial
work can be seen at
http://home.houston.rr.com/kovacs/F3Kworldchallenge/
I hope to have this event ready to go by August 2003.

Wish me luck.

P.S. - I have been in contact with the FAI, and they
have been of help.
