Finally one of Paul Naton's flicks on DVD, and I really enjoyed it. Crystal clear and digital audio too, this is one of Paul's best works yet. Nice thing on the DVD is the trailer, the extra segment on a 10m Eta, and a bunch of previews from some of his other videos.
Some folks out there have some seriously cool toys, I like the way he interviewed the pilots with their works of art, and let them describe their models, and then go on to fly them. Very interesting subjects too. And then there were the crash sequences, on a nice DVD player these are fun to watch over and over, slow motion frame by frame stuff... 8-)) Those poor Axel pilots scattered out... heheheheh I also enjoyed the way Paul slides into black and white video on one of the 1930's gliders flying sequences, made you feel like it was real. Also on the DVD was a Gallery of Paul's photo/art, cool stuff, so much more fun than a plain old video tape. If you guys have a DVD player, this is first DVD I have seen on R/C soaring and it's kool! P.S. Someone in my club seriously SERIOUSLY has to finish the Pegasus tug *cough*cough*McCarthy*cough*cough*cough. 8-) Jim Downers Grove, IL Member of the Chicago SOAR club, AMA 592537 LSF 7560 Level III ICQ 6997780 R/C Soaring Page at www.jimbacus.net RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
