<<I met Tom at his field in Afton (Hyw 64 and 340 southwest corner of VA) in the morning and we flew TD till about 1pm. Then headed over to KFC for some breasts and chicken to go :-)
Then he took me up to the BlueRidge highway in the Blueridge Mts... approx 20mins from the TD field. On the way to his house we stopped at one of the many 'overlook' parking areas that overlook the valleys of the area.>>

You found out what a lot of us have known for a few years, Tom & the guys at BRASS are great (& put on a good early contest), and sloping the Skyline Drive (109 miles long) is super. Overlooks with any wind direction within just 10 - 15 miles either end. We're only 110 miles from the North end.
