after a loooong wait I just received my new JR x-378 system... I received the aircraft system with PCM (649s) receiver...
4 standard servos (537 BB) and the appropriate switches etc... I was getting antsy so they shipped it to me sans manual.. as I get a chance to play with this more I can give particulars but here's what I've gathered from cursory examination: transmitter... although it's likely the same size... and no heavier it looks a bit wider than the 388 or 8103.. digital trims on all channels... different than it's predecessors the airplane version has no heli-knobs.. the 378 tx uses a crystal rather than a module in the back.. timer is started with a button on the face.. the display is way different with more support graphics than the 8103.. the menu, though different flows similar to the 8103 and earlier radios.. a few navigational differences.. seems to contain the software contained mixes with changeable switching as before... dedicated Ail-Rud. mix 6 open mixes failsafe, DSC, etc... more soon Take Care, Mike Stump RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
