Folks,
A friend hopes to fly his Emerald 3m for the first time this weekend.
What's a good starting location for the CG? The plane was purchased used
and there's a balance mark at 50% of the root chord. The tow hook is about
1/2 inch in front of that mark. My friend is an expert slope and power
pilot, but he has no experience flying thermal. He's concerned that 50% is
too far back. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
