Bill, been flying one since december and it builds quick, turns on a dime and compared to my Zagi 3C it runs all over it. All up weight came out at 16oz. The only mods i have done is add new wingtips and glassed the elevons with 3/4oz cloth and water based polyurethane. The new wingtips were made out of 2mm coroplast that hangs below the wing about 1.5 inches seems to make it not side slip so bad. I took out my 3C today and was not impressed with it as I have been spoiled flying the XR. Much faster wing and believe me it does take a beating so far only had some small tears in the covering mostly due to the gravel and twigs. Give it a try you will like it. Weston has a winner on his hands.
Been wanting to try the XL but think I'll wait until winter so I have something to build on those stormy nights. Bruce "Nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal."
