I heard of someone awhile back here in RCSE building a Grand Esprit short kit from DC hobbies and the ribs were not right in some manner. DC Hobbies made new ribs and replaced them. I sould suggest you call them and see if they will send ribs that fit. There are no cap strips on the Grand Esprit.
