Hi All, If you're on your way to Soar Utah, the winds are blowin'.
It appears that we'll have around 85 pilots this year, based upon pre-registration and verbal commitments. Raffle sponsors have been good to us <http://www.silentflyer.org/su2002_sponsors.html>http://www.silentflyer.org /su2002_sponsors.html and we are very appreciative! The day will start out tomorrow morning flying on Antelope Island located in the Great Salt Lake. There should be some great sloping and the conditions should permit DSing. One of the local television stations will have an outdoor reporter on Antelope tomorrow, so dress nice and wear clean underwear. Oh, maybe that's for a car wreck..... Saturday and Sunday will be at the Point of the Mountain and the conditions look pretty good. It shouldn't be a "sandblaster" like two years ago. If you're not coming, see what you're missing <http://nimbo.wrh.noaa.gov/Saltlake/UofU/UofU.UT7.html>http://nimbo.wrh.noa a.gov/Saltlake/UofU/UofU.UT7.html Finally, we'll finish up on Monday flying on top of Francis Peak (9,500 feet) and the conditions also look to be quite flyable <http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/Saltlake/UofU/UofU.FPK.html>http://www.wrh.noaa.go v/Saltlake/UofU/UofU.FPK.html Tom Hoopes - [EMAIL PROTECTED] CD - Soar Utah 2002 Aug.30 - Sep.2, 2002 http://www.silentflyer.org RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
