Hi all, I'm helping a local flier set up an eclipse 7, and I just want to sanity check myself....
He has a 4 servo wing, phasoar brushless motor, nice 100+" glider (Pelikan?). My question, based on his concerns, is this: if I go with the glider mode, 4 servo wing, is there a good alternative to having the motor on the elevator d/r switch (eg On / Off)? I think it's the better setup, but he's a little nervous about it being 'unmanageable' at full throttle - I am going to dial in some down as the motor comes on, and I think that will make him more comfortable (the vertical climb is what he's nervous about).... so - ideas from folks with similar setup?
