Right your are John, a few days before Visalia i slipped and almost went down hard but caught myself before i did. I also pulled a musel hard in my lower side to my back. On the first round Saturday I threw the plane and got a tazer shock in the area and almost went down again. I could hardly stand up but got the plane back under control and landed it safely. Thought it best to sit Visalia out this year. I still had as much fun as if I were flying. The Saturday night winged optics was a blast. It is the people and the great crew CVRC that makes this as much fun as it is.All the nice things Daryl said and more about the contest. I was shot down...hard...on Friday. One of my nicer molded Psykos was trashed...but I flew it sat and Sun anyway. And had a blast.The people and the camraderie, the fun and the food and the beer...the night racing...No amount of money or prep can give you those things if you don't look for them...and nothing can take them away, either.
