Bruce is a slope soaring junkie.... in the vein of surf bums of days gone by, he slopes every chance he can.... in Nashville. Not a millionaire, or even close, he's choses a rich life of enjoying everyday. You'll find him at Percy's dam, sitting in a thermal with his 126 60" DAW EPP with about 10 buzzards.... and coaching some newbie who got hooked watching Bruce
I got to fly with him yesterday, and while chatting about the air cycling through and its effect on the dam's lift, he popped out with the term "Slermal".
It sums up the best parts of lift that cycles thru the site. You don't find them on every slope and its a weird phemnom at Percy cuz it happens from the water side.
