ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY
As most of you know, our December meeting is also our annual Holiday
party.
It is a potluck dinner combined with a small meeting, a HUGE raffle, our
annual awards, and some kind of a "hand-chuck" glider contest where
everyone has certain design guidelines to follow, something along the
lines
of a paper airplane-type of thing. This year, it is being held in the
rotunda of the Aerospace Museum on Tuesday, December 10, from 7 till 9
PM.
The contest will be held using the "Stinger" HLG from MM Glider Tech. We
will have them available for only $1 by the Thanksgiving weekend.
Contact
me, or Terry Throop to get one or two. The contest will include
duration,
distance, maybe an all-up-last-one-down round, and something special for
the kiddies. The club will provide napkins, plates, plastic-wear and
drinks.
The food assignments are as follows; according to your last name.
A-G = Main Dish
F-M = Vegetable Dish
N-R = Salad Dish
S-Z = Desert Dish
My first one was last year and I was amazed at how good of a time I had.
