Go to an electronics supply place. What you need are stand off posts. Mouser or DigiKey might have them on line.
In a pinch an old Bic pen barrell can be cut up for a substitute - you have to run a screw or threaded rod through the center.

somewhere, can't remember where.
.25 inch OD, threaded internally to accept 8-32 bolt. Length about 2 =
inches.
