to prototype parts but from what I have been told not durable enough for mold making. I may have been led astray so I may be misinformed. Neat concept though.
I read an article that there was a resin for this that could be put into service with minor finishing (IIRC the tested part was for a vehicle). The idea was for the military to fabricate parts in the field. Not as durable as a metal or ceramic part, but still respectable.
