Two great Aerotow events BACK TO BACK.

This weekend in Visalia, CA Chris Pratt and the CVRC (think Fall Festival
guys) are hosting a 3-day scale aerotow event. We use the BIG grass parking
area for the runway. If you are anywhere near Visalia this weekend and have
even a passing interest in scale gliders, you should make plans to come by.
Tony Elliot will be there with a couple of the most amazing BIG scale
gliders you have ever seen (SB-10 and ETA =AD 1/3 scale =3D 35 FEET!!)!!!

Then next weekend in Monticello, IL JR/Horizon is hosting their First Annua=
l
(?) scale aerotow event. Looks like  a HUGE turnout. About 10 of us from CA
are coming and all kinds of folks from the =B3other=B2 coast as well as I hear
from Europe. Again, this looks like a great event. If you are within drivin=
g
distance of Monticello, IL next weekend (6/13 to 15) try to make it by. TOC
pilot Peter Goldsmith is the host. He has seen the light and has embraced
the silent world of flight!! Convective activity looks to be the order of
the day so I expect some BOOMING lift!!

If you can make it to ether one of these you are sure to see some great
airplanes!!=20

Hope to see some of you guys at one or the other event.
