Would it not make more sense to just wait for the results instead of
panning it? I also am willing to consider arguments "other" than just
poo-pooing just to stretch your suspenders. 

Before you trip again, consider gathering some information on Boeing's
patents regarding this concept before commenting. I'll even offer up a
patent number: RF9402532 06/07/94

Even a 5% increase in L/D over a similar design will have everyone
scrambling to apply the same or similar aerodynamic aids.
