Yep, eat your hearts out guys!
Today I became the first RC sailplaner to hit the hundred (my hat!) in Longview Texas...but I was short of my goal by 10... My goal was to match the temp which showed 110 on my truck thermometer...but the best landing I could do was a hundred :-)
Pretty sure I am the first RC sailplaner to fly Longview. I found a soccer field on Loop 281 just north east of highway 20, at about 6:30pm when I got into town from Dallas. Hot was an understatement. The Pike fuse was so hot when I landed I had to use a towel to pick it up!
Mostly trees around here :-(.
Work here tomorrow then off toward the Mid Am in Lexington Kentucky this weekend.
