I went down to the club for a little fun. When I got there they were setting
up the winch.
I got out the HLG and did some throws to test the air. I ended up flying
for twenty minutes, not all in one flight. Did get ten minutes on one flight.
Dennis had his 126 foamie there was having some trim problem so I handed my
Duckling to Doug. He was out there about 45 minutes throwing and flying.
Got Dennis flying and got out the Artemis. On the first launch there seemed
to be good air, so after about 8 or 9 minutes I ask some one to start a
clock for my one hour attempt. There was good lift to the south for about 20
minutes then had to go looking for more. Set off to the east and was in some
big down air. Got down to launch height and found some good air and then it
was a chore to just to keep the plane in sight.
Harry walks up to me and says you need 5 more minutes. So I started to work
my way down to land. It was 1 hour 1 minute and 30 seconds on the clock.
This was on the first launch of the day.

It was very cool to do the hour.
