I have just returned to our new home, after being on the road for 3 weeks.
Its always nice to come home and see what the Postal Santa has left for you while you were gone.
For the most part, my flying season is about done..I just moved, so I do not really have a shop yet.
A lot of you guys hear always hear me asking you to support the guys who support us at the Nats each year.
Like a person said, in another e-mail on a different subject, the Donors to the Nats workers Raffle, probably see no return on their donation.
Well in many cases that is probably true.
However, while out on the road;
I placed an order to the Winch Doc, for one of his F3J / F3b Pulleys to be fitted to my new Bob Massman Turn-around and some of those heavy duty winch motor brushes
so I can pull yearly maintenance on my winch.... way kool !!
I received an order from Tom Hoopes, with a connector set for my Artimis;
And I received an order from Injoy Wood Products, Terry Banchi..
I had talked to him about some issues that I was having with one of my winch motors, and that I wanted to purchase one of his "NEW" ; not refurbished 3110 motors.
Well I open the box not only to fine a really nice NEW motor,
However, he also tossed in a new armature, "NO Charge" for the motor that I am replacing. Wow, to say the least I am flabbergasted.
Now I would not expect that he is gonna do that for everyone, ever again, but I think that was really kool.
I do happen to practice what I preach and I do support those who help support us (The LSF) , and I am proud to tell you about it.

One last thing, What about this guy Jim Bacus !!
This guy took some pictures, and wrote a really kool article about the 2003 Soaring Nationals.
I think its the biggest spread that I have seen in years. Way Kool.!!
