Absolutely worth it if you have the need. What need? Synchronizing multiple servos on one large surface. Programming servos to do several things including one direction travel without mixing, speed, center point, and travel adjustments. Much of this is or can be done with a good transmitter, but often this is a great solution. I had an occasion to use tiperons traveling only up 45 degrees, (left or right tiperon up, the other neutral) with an 8 servo wing it was easy to program the servos to do this, and then put the mix on an on off switch on the transmitter, without complicated programming.

Only work with DIGITAL SERVOS for servo reprogramming. Does not work with analog servos.
